Electronic Arts has revealed that the servers for Need for Speed: Rivals will be deactivated on October 7, 2025.
The information is available both on the official website and the PS Store. The company states this affects the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions.
Despite the servers being shut down, EA does not appear to be removing the game from digital stores, as it can still be played offline.
However, online trophies will become unavailable, meaning the Platinum trophy can no longer be earned (see this PSN Profiles guide).
