The new Lollipop Chainsaw projects announced last week include a new game and an anime adaptation, Dragami Games and partner Nada Holdings announced.
“Under the strong partnership between Nada Holdings and Dragami Games, the development of a new Lollipop Chainsaw title that preserves and expands the appeal of the original is already underway,” stated the announcement. “With a firm commitment to honoring the spirit of the original work, the development team includes key staff members who were involved in the previous title. The new project is also being developed with keen attention to fan feedback.”
It continued: “Just like the original, the new title aims to recreate a world rich in black humor. The development process will prioritize faithfulness to the original work’s signature tone and spirit, without imposing excessive creative constraints in the name of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).”
An official X account is available. Information about the anime has not been announced.
