See the description:

Son of Thanjai is a cinematic action-adventure epic set in the culturally rich 11th-century South India. As a Chola king burdened by legacy, you must undertake a personal journey that blurs the line between duty and destiny. Will you rise as a legend—or be forgotten?

Thanjavur is no longer the empire you left behind. Whispers of unrest echo through its temples and streets. Allies seem uncertain; enemies hide in plain sight; foreign saboteurs circle your throne.

As a king born in the shadow of his father’s greatness, you must carve your own path while walking the fine line between duty and destiny.

Crush your enemies, protect your people, and immerse yourself in 11th-century South India in this cinematic action-adventure epic.

Shadow Attack or Unleash Fury

Ride horses, elephants, and bulls—or blend into crowds—while hunting targets across vibrant Thanjai city and beyond.

• • • Master the Surulvaal, a deadly whip-sword where every strike is a spectacle and every blow is personal.
    • Engage in fluid, high-stakes combat inspired by Kalarippayattu, an ancient martial art.
    • Chain attacks and visceral finishers with elegance.
    • Disarm enemies using period-inspired weapons.
    • Infiltrate enemy camps and interrogate key targets to uncover critical intel.

You control the battlefield.

Relive 11th-Century South India’s Epic Culture

Thanjai’s world is a meticulously researched, detail-rich recreation of the Chola Empire at its peak, brimming with culture, music, and meaning.

• • • Roam Thanjavur’s streets where temples pierce the sky and walls whisper forgotten tales.
    • Witness folk performances, classical dances, and ceremonies inspired by ancient Tamil customs.
    • Interact with common folk—priests, farmers, traders, and fishermen—each responding differently based on your demeanor.
    • Uncover hidden traditions that reflect your past and challenge your beliefs.

Your Legacy Awaits

You are more than your lineage. Stand firm. Protect your people.

Your empire awaits.
