New PS5 Side-Scroller HELLREAPER Announced by Awesome Games Studio

Awesome Games Studio has announced HELLREAPER, a side-scrolling action game for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. A release date hasn’t been set.

See the description:

Become the Hellreaper—an unstoppable force Heaven cannot control and Hell comes to fear. Conquer profane hordes and slay grotesque bosses. Forge and master your weapons. Wield cursed magic. Uncover ancient relics. Evolve. Every step of this bloody descent into the abyss is yours.

When the Hordes of Hell grow mighty and the Eternal Balance is at stake, Heaven must strike back. As their last line of defense, they unleash the Hellreaper. By sacrificing one of the High Angels, they forge a devastating, uncontrollable force that can restore order.

With help from a mysterious entity known as The Three Sisters, you will uncover the secrets of Hell’s corruption—and much more. There will also be cats. Probably… with cats, you never can tell.

HELLREAPER is a challenging but fair game with highly responsive controls. We at Awesome Games Studio are a small indie team, but we’re also passionate gamers. In our previous titles, like Fury Unleashed and Yet Another Zombie Survivors, we worked closely with our community to create the most enjoyable experiences possible. We strive to make our games as awesome as they can be.
