NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound Sets July 31 PS5 Release Date

Dotemu (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4) and developer The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous series) today announced the digital release date for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound during the State of Play showcase. Sharpen your blade for a demonic invasion when this 2D side-scrolling action-platformer launches on July 31 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Before that, players can obliterate demons when the first playable demo of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound premieres during Steam Next Fest next week.

Today’s reveal confirms guest composers Keiji Yamagishi, Ryuichi Nitta, and Kaori Nakabai—creators of the original NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy’s soundtracks—have contributed to NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound. Lead composer is Sergio de Prado, best known for his work on the acclaimed Blasphemous series.
