Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII has sold over 15.1 million units since its release in 1997.
The information comes with the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake for Xbox Series.
The original PlayStation version accounts for 10 million units sold, meaning approximately 5 million sales come from the versions available on modern platforms.
