Maximum Entertainment and developer Brimstone Games have announced that Overthrown will release on October 16 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
The game has been available in Early Access for Xbox Series and PC since December 5th, including via Game Pass.

Build and throw everything to construct and manage your kingdom in this chaotic city builder for 1-6 players. Use the power of your soul-stealing crown to defend your citizens from bandits and mutants, cultivate land and collect resources. Keep your citizens happy or they’ll abandon you!
You play as a monarch wielding an ancient soul-stealing crown with magical abilities. Harness its power to establish a kingdom in a dangerous territory and defend it from mutants and bandits roaming the lands.
Build, gather resources, cultivate land and more to transform your fledgling kingdom into an influential, self-sustaining realm worthy of a king. As your fame grows, more people will rally under your banner – but you’ll also attract those who want to overthrow you, including up to six friends in co-op mode.
BUILD ANYWHERE
Construct a kingdom from nothing and transform empty terrain into a thriving settlement. Decide where structures go, then manage your citizens to automate everything! Don’t like a building placement? Just pick it up and throw it elsewhere!
LIFT ANYTHING
Hurl entire trees into sawmills to make planks or sprint through forests carrying your sawmill to absorb trees along the way! Resource gathering is fast and fun thanks to your crown’s magic. Surrounded by enemies? Chuck monster nests near bandit camps to make them fight each other (and loot free items!).
FIGHT LIKE AN ANIME PROTAGONIST
Villagers being eaten by mutants? Dash across lakes at 100 km/h to save them! Bandits sniping from hills? Spin-attack so fast you helicopter into the sky and dive-bomb them from above!
SURVIVE THE SEASONS
Manage resources and stockpile enough food to last winter. Protect farms (and farmers) from starving mutants while crops grow. Move pollution-spewing workshops away or watch your land become barren. Keep citizens content or watch them defect to bandits.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
Overthrown supports offline single-player or online co-op with up to six players! However – only one wears the crown.
