Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac
Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced new DLC for PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, bringing Sonic the Hedgehog to PAC-MAN’s latest adventure.
Scheduled for late 2025, this DLC features Green Hill Zone from the original Sonic game as a new stage in PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC. Celebrating the collab, Bandai Namco and SEGA released a trailer revealing Pac-Man themed content arriving in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog’s iconic Green Hill Zone, the DLC adds the new “Rolling Around on the Island” stage to PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC. It recreates the tropical landscape with signature checkerboard terrain and cliffs faithful to Sonic’s memorable debut level.
The stage incorporates Sonic-themed mechanics including 360-degree loops, springs, boost rings, plus appearances from Moto Bug and Buzz Bomber enemies. Two bonus costumes are included—one Sonic-inspired outfit allowing Pac-Man to don blue spikes, red gloves, and sneakers. This remastered PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC experience lets players speed through levels while confronting classic foes.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac releases September 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
