Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showcasing the opening of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac modernizes the original’s gameplay while faithfully preserving the charm of the early 2000s release. Players can perform new actions to defeat enemies, including Super Dash, Ice Skating, Flutter Jump, and more. Other enhanced mechanics like the Kick and Snorkel will also be available.
The new Fairy Mode makes the game more accessible to wider audiences by easing platforming puzzles and granting Pac-Man immunity to certain hazards and attacks. Battles have been overhauled with new bosses added to the game. A revamped Time Attack Mode lets players compete for global leaderboard spots by speedrunning stages.
Additional features enhancing fun and replayability include three classic Pac-Man titles – the original Pac-Man, Pac-Attack, and Pacmania – playable at the Village arcade, alongside Gashapon machines where players can spend in-game coins to win collectible figures.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac launches September 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
