Regional redlocking on Steam for many PlayStation PC games has been lifted.
Previously, most PlayStation PC versions couldn’t be purchased in unsupported PSN regions. While workarounds existed—including creating Steam and PSN accounts for different regions—these regional locks frustrated affected gamers.
It now appears major PlayStation PC releases including God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Helldivers 2 have removed regional restrictions from their Steam listings.
Previously, Sony implemented incentives for players to create PSN accounts.
