Project LLL, the new “tactical MMO shooter” currently in development for consoles and PC by NCSOFT and its development subsidiary BigFire Games, will be officially titled Cinder City.
Cinder City will feature “high-fidelity dynamic graphics” in an “open, continuous world” using Unreal Engine 5. The game presents an alternative-history sci-fi narrative where 23rd-century future technology intersects with 21st-century tech. Set in post-apocalyptic Seoul, modeled after real-world locations like Samseong-dong and Nonhyeon-dong, the game promises realistic combat mechanics that “authentically replicate” firearms operations.
“The Cinder City title represents future humanity’s struggle against a grave crisis to restore hope and save the city from ashes,” said BigFire Games CEO Jaehyun Bae in a statement. “Our entire team is fully committed to creating and delivering a game that will exceed players’ expectations worldwide.”
NCSOFT also launched an official website, an X account, a Facebook page, and a YouTube channel for the game.
