PS5 Update Tomorrow Adds DualSense Sync & New Power Saving Mode

Sony announced that the next PS5 system software update arrives officially tomorrow (the 16th).

This update will allow syncing DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers to multiple devices simultaneously. Learn more about using this feature here.

How to use Power Savings for Games on PS5 consoles

You can enable Power Savings for Games on compatible PS5 titles, reducing performance when necessary to decrease power consumption.

1. Go to Settings > System.
2. Select Power Saving > Power Savings for Games
3. Turn on Use Power Savings and select the games you want to play with it enabled.

• When playing with power savings enabled, the feature icon appears next to the game in the Game Hub within the control center.
• VR mode is unavailable while power savings is active. Other gameplay features may also be limited.
