Kalypso Media has announced that the Industrial Wonders DLC is now available for Railway Empire 2.

Check out the launch trailer and details below.

Description:

Dive into the beating heart of the Industrial Revolution in Railway Empire 2 – Industrial Wonders. Led by the steam locomotive, this era unleashed a wave of productivity and innovation, enabling complex supply chains and monumental construction projects previously unimaginable. In Germany, the Ruhr Valley emerged as the powerhouse of industrialization, where coal mines, steel mills, and railways formed a vast interconnected web of progress. Meanwhile, France prepared to crown the 1889 World’s Fair with the Eiffel Tower, a stunning symbol of modern engineering. And in 1931, the United States began work on the Hoover Dam, a colossal concrete feat built with bold new techniques.

In Industrial Wonders, your railway company flourishes at the center of these transformative projects. Establish your own production facilities and build efficient rail connections to drive regional development and enable the construction of engineering marvels. A more complex production system, with variable goods inputs and outputs per factory, adds greater depth and complexity. If you can keep everything on track, you’ll witness some of history’s most iconic structures achieving industrial glory—one train at a time.

• Smoking Steel: Railway Empire 2 – Industrial Wonders takes players on an entrepreneurial journey to three essential centers of the industrialization era.

• Heavy Duty: Utilize three authentic locomotives, including the iconic Big Boy and Heavy Mikado.

• Full Steam Ahead: The DLC features three comprehensive, fully-voiced scenarios: “The Industrial Miracle” (starting 1869), “La Dame de Fer” (starting 1880), and “The Concrete Giant” (starting 1910)

• Shaping Tomorrow: Gear up for challenges across three new high-resolution maps of the Ruhr Area, Île-de-France, and Lower Colorado Basin.

• Boosting Production: Become an industry master with an upgraded production system: Establish your own production sites and trade manufactured goods to selected rural businesses, while your factories feature a wider range of input and output goods.

• Heavy Tracks: Over 15 new thematic music tracks and jingles to immerse you in the new environments and locomotives.
