Rain World Anthology Brings the Base Game and Both Expansions to PS5 on Disc

Rain World Anthology is coming to PlayStation 5 as a physical release containing the base game and both of its expansions, Downpour and The Watcher. Akupara Games, VIDEOCULT and Serenity Forge announced the collection on September 6, while Serenity Forge opened pre-orders for two editions through its official store.

The Premium Edition costs US$59.99. It includes the physical game, an illustrated inner coversheet, an embossed slipcover with new artwork, a holographic Slugcat sticker sheet and a soundtrack download card redeemable on a computer or smartphone.

At US$119.99, the Collector’s Edition adds a full-size Slugcat scarf, an artbook, an acrylic shaker standee and an acrylic keychain to the Premium Edition contents.

Serenity Forge currently says the pre-order is not expected to ship until February 18, 2027. That wording makes the date a store shipping estimate rather than a confirmed universal release date, and the listing does not establish whether the PS5 disc will require additional downloads for any part of the collection.

For PlayStation players, the appeal is straightforward: the physical PS5 release gathers Rain World and both expansions on a single product. The original game follows a nomadic slugcat searching for food and shelter in a hostile environment, while avoiding predators and severe rain cycles.

The available listings display prices in US dollars and do not clearly confirm complete regional distribution for the PS5 edition. Serenity Forge also warns that customers outside the United States may face VAT and import charges, with international orders shipped DDU. Buyers elsewhere should therefore treat the listed prices as a US-store reference rather than a final regional cost.

Rain World Anthology is also listed for Nintendo Switch 2, but the PS5 specification is the clearest for this coverage: a physical PlayStation 5 disc containing the base game and both expansions. Serenity Forge has not yet provided complete information on regional pricing, age ratings, language options or the technical specifications of the PS5 edition.
