The footage features never-before-seen gameplay starring protagonist Grace Ashford, as developers discuss key aspects of the game. These include the ability to toggle between first-person and third-person perspectives, its horror focus, and more.
An interesting reveal emerged when the team mentioned Leon Kennedy was considered for the lead role. However, the developers explained he couldn’t embody the terror focus due to his character history (noting Leon wouldn’t flinch at something like a falling bucket).
Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
