The dataminer for Halo, ‘grunt.api’, found records indicating that a version of the game is coming to PS5.
He gave no further details in the post. “Honestly, I didn’t expect to find this today… But I can now OFFICIALLY CONFIRM,” stated the dataminer. “A Halo game is coming (very soon) to PlayStation. As of now, there’s no sign of a version for the Nintendo Switch (2),” he commented.
According to reports, the dataminer is reliable, so the information appears legitimate. However, even he doesn’t know which Halo it would be (such as Infinite or the Master Chief Collection).
Regardless, given the number of Xbox games that have already arrived or are coming to PS5 (like Hellblade and Gears of War), it doesn’t seem impossible for Halo to land on Sony’s platform.
We must await further information.
