Apparently, a LEGO Batman game inspired by LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is scheduled to release in 2026.
Details about the LEGO Batman title were shared by the LEGO Game News account on X. The account had previously reported a rumor stating that TT Games’ next LEGO game would follow several Batman-based movies. Furthermore, the game could be revealed at Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live.
The new post continues the previous rumor, stating that “the next game is a LEGO Batman in the style of Skywalker Saga, with no connection to the original trilogy (scheduled for release in spring 2026)”. In the comments section, the user also stated that there’s a high chance this game will feature “a Gotham City and you can choose the era”.
In other words, it appears that this new LEGO Batman would be inspired by the character’s films rather than being a compilation of the three previously released games.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was a title that allowed players to start playing from any trilogy and included all nine films. Players could also visit different popular locations from the Skywalker Saga films, with the game allowing them to unlock and explore 23 other planets.
The same post also provides players with information about other LEGO games that were canceled. It appears that LEGO Disney and LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy were scrapped. Additionally, there was also a pitch for “a LEGO Harry Potter game in the style of Skywalker Saga”, but it never moved forward.
ICYM: Here’s an overall review of the 2023 TT Games RUMORS that occurred in January of that year with little more extra context.
