A Polish podcaster (Rock & Borys) with internal contacts at CD Projekt RED reportedly stated that a new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC is on the way.
According to reports, the podcaster is well-known in the country and trustworthy. He rarely leaks information and genuinely has industry connections.
Regarding the DLC, the content is allegedly being developed by Fool’s Theory, who is also working on the The Witcher 1 remake. No additional details were given, but it’s speculated this DLC would bridge The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to The Witcher 4. There is no information on whether it would also come to PS4 and Xbox One.
This DLC’s existence isn’t exactly surprising. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PS5 will receive mod support and The Witcher 4 remains far from release. With CD Projekt RED having no major releases for a while, a DLC could cover the gap between releases.
