Developer Tribute Games has announced that Roxie Richter and Lucas Lee will be playable characters in Scott Pilgrim EX.

Joining Scott Pilgrim EX’s fight against the gangs that have taken over Toronto are two former enemies from the franchise’s iconic League of Evil Exes: the heavyweight fighter Lucas Lee and chaos-bringer Roxie Richter, both featuring the unmistakable high-quality retro artistic style that is Tribute Games’ trademark. Lucas is taking a break from his Hollywood star career to beat up any villains crossing his path with signature hand-to-hand grappling attacks and a fully-equipped skateboard (read: he beats people with it). Meanwhile in battle, Roxie shreds with her iconic sword slashes like a ninja (sort of)—fast and agile—with a complete kit of smoke bombs and moves that turn her into a veritable blender of styles on the front lines.
In Scott Pilgrim EX, members of Toronto’s coolest band, Sex Bob-omb, are kidnapped and have their instruments stolen while the city is terrorized by demons, vegans, and robots. Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, and unlikely allies including Lucas and Roxie must fight their way through the city—from streets to beaches and possibly even back in time—to save the band, the city, and the world. A total of seven playable fighters will be introduced, with Scott and Ramona destined to gain more allies before Scott Pilgrim EX launches.
Fight through a Toronto remixed by video games, featuring vibrant colors and deep Scott Pilgrim references while completing missions and defeating gangs dominating city districts. Enemies can be eliminated with each character’s unique expandable abilities or environmental items found in highly interactive stages—from baseball bats to demonic rods, turnips, and beyond. Showcasing an all-new story co-written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and Tribute Games, plus original tracks from Scott Pilgrim alumni Anamanaguchi, Scott Pilgrim EX delivers a fresh (and daring!) franchise chapter for veterans and newcomers alike.
Scott Pilgrim EX will launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
