Rumors have been circulating since 2023 that a Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice anime is in production. However, there is now a strong indication that we will see its official announcement.
Specifically, the domain ‘sekiro-anime.jp’ was registered by Kadokawa Corporation. This information can be viewed on the WHO.IS website.
As such, the official announcement may be near. In 2024, reports suggested the studio handling the anime is ‘Qzil.la’—a relatively new studio that produced the opening for Hell’s Paradise‘s first season.
It was also stated that the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice anime will have a limited number of episodes, though no specific count was mentioned.
