Atlus announced that combined sales of Shin Megami Tensei V and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance have surpassed 2 million units.
Despite the announcement, SEGA had accidentally leaked that sales were already at 2.11 million. The last official figure had put sales at 1.6 million.
In addition, Atlus also revealed that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance sold 1 million units, meaning half of the celebrated sales are from the game’s new version.
Shin Megami Tensei V was released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. An enhanced version, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, arrived on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 14, 2024.
