Today, we take great pride in unveiling the first wireless fight stick designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, codenamed Project Defiant. This sleek controller will offer greater flexibility to enjoy your favorite fighting game, either wirelessly with the innovative ultra-low latency PlayStation Link technology, or via USB cable on both PS5 and PC.
Project Defiant delivers minimal latency and versatile play options. Key features include:
- Controls built specifically for fighting: Project Defiant features a high-quality digital controller specially engineered by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It comes with interchangeable restrictor gates (square, circle, octagonal) for the joystick, mechanical push-buttons, and a touch pad identical to the one on the DualSense wireless controller. It’s designed with a durable, affordable build that stays comfortable even during intense fight sessions. Project Defiant also supports wirelessly waking your PS5 by pressing and holding the PS button.
- Ultra-low latency wireless connectivity: Your inputs won’t lag thanks to our innovative wireless PS Link technology, compatible with PS5 and PC, which ensures precise reaction to every button press and joystick movement. Alternatively, you can also easily plug and play using a USB-C cable.
