During the Insider Gaming podcast, insider Tom Henderson, who clearly has reliable sources within Ubisoft, stated that a sequel to Star Wars Outlaws had its development canceled.
Development was in the very early stages, and the cancellation is likely due to the original’s sales. Ubisoft itself has already made it clear that it considers the game as a failure, even blaming the Star Wars franchise for it.
Star Wars Outlaws was released for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. A version for Switch 2 arrives on September 4.
