The Summer Game Fest 2025 recorded 89% higher viewership compared to last year’s event, according to organizers.
The showcase, which featured game announcements and updates, attracted over 50 million viewers across livestreams during its two-hour runtime. This marks the highest viewership ever recorded for the event.
Per Variety (via VGC), the livestream peaked at over 3 million concurrent viewers across Twitch and YouTube. YouTube viewership grew over 40% compared to 2024, while Twitch viewership increased 38%.
Broadcast live from Los Angeles, California, the event was hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley, who also serves as creator and producer of The Game Awards.
