Publisher Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio have announced that The House of the Dead 2: Remake will launch on August 7 for Switch and PC via Steam. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions will arrive later.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail shooter series. Take on the role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize dangerous undead monsters blocking your path.
Story
In February 2000, a small town was suddenly overrun by hostile creatures. Two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, were dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, they noted the situation resembled the 1998 Curien Mansion incident. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they began blasting through hordes of creatures.
