The director of the canceled The Last of Us Online project has revealed he will open a studio in Japan.
Vinit Agarwal announced he is moving to Japan to open a new studio. His tenure at Naughty Dog also included roles as a designer on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
“Moving to Japan tomorrow,” he wrote. “Also forming a game studio – more on that soon!”
Agarwal announced in January that he intended to leave Naughty Dog, following the cancellation of The Last of Us Online in 2023.
