Xbox Game Studios and developer Obsidian Entertainment announced that The Outer Worlds 2 will cost $69.99 instead of the previously announced $79.99.
“We are focused on bringing players incredible worlds to explore and will keep our holiday releases at full price, including The Outer Worlds 2, at $69.99—in line with current market conditions,” an Xbox representative told Windows Central about the decision.
Users who already pre-ordered will be refunded. As of this posting, the game’s price on the PS Store remains $79.99 (R$455.90 in Brazil), but this should change soon.
The Outer Worlds 2 will launch on October 29 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
