On social media, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk posted the opening clip from Tony Hawk’s Underground, but this time, he portrayed the player-created main character while interacting with Eric Sparrow.
According to Hawk in the video’s caption, this was his way of spreading some joy and celebrating National Video Games Day, which took place last Friday. The video also featured the phrase “not a THUG promo” tagged, dashing any hopes of a remaster.
While the video serves as a fun throwback to Tony Hawk’s Underground, don’t expect it to be a teaser for an eventual remake of the 2003 game. Hawk himself has stated in the past that he’d love to see it remastered, but ultimately, it’s not up to him to decide.
