Falcom has released a new trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter focusing on the battle system.

Trails is a story-driven RPG series that celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024. To commemorate this milestone, the series’ first entry, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, is being completely remade!
Liberl Kingdom, the story’s setting, has been fully recreated in 3D, and all distinct characters, including Estelle and Joshua, have been refined.
Along with thrilling, stress-free combat that allows seamless switching between the two battle modes “Field Action” and “Command Battle”, each character’s Crafts and Arts are now dynamically displayed! While preserving the scenic imagery of Liberl Kingdom, the game includes varied missions and countless side activities that let players fully experience traveling through the kingdom from their own perspective.
After their father Cassius disappears, Estelle and Joshua embark on a journey across Liberl Kingdom. Along the way, they’ll meet and part ways with new companions. What awaits them at journey’s end…?

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first series in the Trails franchise, with three titles released from 2004 to 2007, including The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
The story takes place in Liberl Kingdom, a small nation in southwestern Zemuria continent. In a world advancing through new “Orbal Energy” technology, a girl named Estelle and her companion Joshua aim to become Bracers who protect civilians and maintain peace throughout the region.
The game depicts their numerous encounters and farewells during their journey, as well as the young heroes’ growth.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter launches for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam on September 19.
