Dreamhaven and developer Moonshot Games announced that Wildgate has received its first Reach Rotation, a title update introducing new anomalies into matches. This space-based crew FPS blends multiplayer action with explosive space combat.

Every two weeks, these anomalies will introduce gameplay additions and changes—ranging from new points of interest and mysterious artifacts to powerful items giving hunters a tactical advantage.

The update is divided into 4 Rotations, each bringing distinct mechanics into play. See details on all four Rotations below:

  • Rotation 1 – The Obelisk

    • Live since August 7, The Obelisk is a massive alien structure emerging from the cosmos. This sprawling point of interest demands mastery to conquer and holds epic loot… possibly even hosting artifact showdowns.

  • Rotation 2 – The Ancient Relic

    • Starting August 21, strange new objects appear in Loot Rooms. Interacting with the Ancient Relic triggers unpredictable effects. Use it to open a portal to who-knows-where!

  • Rotation 3 – Weapon Artifact

    • This new artifact type fires a short-range energy beam with infinite ammo, devastating both Prospectors and ships. Like current artifacts, you can’t teleport while carrying it.

  • Rotation 4 – Defense Drone

    • When activated, this new outpost deploys a loyal drone intercepting enemy ship projectiles. The bot shields your ship when hostiles open fire.

Wildgate is available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
